Happy Full Moon, beauties!
The Algonquian First Nations tribe called the October Moon the Hunter Moon; named after the work done during this season to prepare food stores and supplies for winter. This month we will draw information from, and play with these themes and how they offer inspiration for us during this time.
While we are blessed with abundant food in Southern California, what else needs to be gathered and stored for nourishment during the “lean” times of winter? What supplies do you want to have on hand? What are you willing to do to feed your spirit, your relationships and your body? We will explore these themes through art making and ritual.
I invite you to join me for an evening of self care and community to celebrate the Hunter Moon and glean what medicine it has in store for us.
